Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Göteborg City FF's Erik Harlén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Sven Alefors left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Tavriya Simferopol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Filiph Vennerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tord Henriksson. Göteborg City FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiph Vennerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When SK Tavriya Simferopol's Filiph Vennerström in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stefan Kiempe hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, SK Tavriya Simferopol's goalkeeper Emanuel Karlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magne Kjellkvist. Tord Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Alefors, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 28 minutes of play, SK Tavriya Simferopol's Filiph Vennerström made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Henriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filiph Vennerström scored 0-6 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tord Henriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Alefors in the 37th minute of play forced Göteborg City FF's goalkeeper Tord Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Kjellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Filiph Vennerström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göteborg City FF's Tord Henriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half SK Tavriya Simferopol were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sven Alefors struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tord Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Tavriya Simferopol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Alefors in the 54th minute of play forced Göteborg City FF's goalkeeper Tord Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Alefors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Henriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Filiph Vennerström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Tord Henriksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Harlén during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Göteborg City FF's Erik Harlén got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77th match minute, Göteborg City FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. SK Tavriya Simferopol's attack was well implemented in the 82nd minute, but when Filiph Vennerström was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over.
