After 11 minutes, Eric Drake mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Azzurri Bambino and the Juniorerna BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AC Azzurri Bambino getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eric Drake hit a great ball. Erling Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urban Stålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Söderström in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes AC Azzurri Bambino got a freekick which was hit by Greger Fredriksson. In the 23rd minute, Valentin Benet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AC Azzurri Bambino's Urban Stålberg didn't even have to move. 28 minutes into the match, Juniorerna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Åkerman came free, but Melker Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Åström having to interfere. Greger Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Per-Arne Snäll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Azzurri Bambino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juniorerna BK the free kick. A collision led to AC Azzurri Bambino getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Per-Arne Snäll hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Valentin Benet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urban Stålberg skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Azzurri Bambino's Rickard Hermansson got a free kick in the 40th minute. 48 minutes into the match, AC Azzurri Bambino's Björn Falck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melker Åström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Åkerman to make the kick off. After some careless play in the AC Azzurri Bambino defense, Tomas Askberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urban Stålberg. The AC Azzurri Bambino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urban Stålberg should have stopped the shot. Tomas Askberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urban Stålberg having to make a save. Erling Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Juniorerna BK's Melker Åström got control of the ball when Björn Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rickard Hermansson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Azzurri Bambino's protests and gave Rickard Hermansson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Juniorerna BK booed when AC Azzurri Bambino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Juniorerna BK's Tomas Askberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urban Stålberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute Jan Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Åkerman struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Melker Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Azzurri Bambino. When Per-Arne Snäll came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the AC Azzurri Bambino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Snäll couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juniorerna BK had won after a very even match.
