In the 3rd minute, Jonatan Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Näver in the 5th minute of the match. Ivan Delin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Östensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Carl Lind hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Elliot Walroth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Östensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Jan-Olof Vennerkvist made a precise shot to the right of Johannes Östensson. ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Reine Vestlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcus Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Johannes Östensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elliot Walroth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Karl-Ove Gustafsson put in a rough tackle. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ljungbyhed! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for ajax. Kent Hägert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcus Tinglöv. 1-3. Kent Hägert hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Kent Hägert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Tinglöv showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcus Tinglöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jan-Olof Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ljungbyhed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Reine Vestlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The ajax supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ljungbyhed's performance. The match ended with a win for Ljungbyhed.
