The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kalmar FF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vintilă Mihu hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 74th match minute, Kalmar FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Bergström to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Byström scored 5-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Asplund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leif Asplund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Stenkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
