Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gláuber Leite kicked off to start the match. Gláuber Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Evert Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Gláuber Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Figo's Peter Alkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Atletico de Linköping's Gláuber Leite made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Jakobsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Lundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Figo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico de Linköping the free kick. Sven-Olof Lundin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Sven-Olof Lundin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Flink during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Flink hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Atletico de Linköping's Gláuber Leite in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Figo's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gláuber Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Åke Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico de Linköping's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Snell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Evert Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Torstensson in the 52nd minute of the match. FC Figo's Evert Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Leite in the 53rd minute of play. Evert Jakobsson was a little too slow when Gláuber Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-3. Måns Melin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert Jakobsson. FC Figo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evert Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Leite in the 64th minute of the match. Evert Jakobsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Torstensson in the 65th minute. FC Figo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Gláuber Leite scored to the left of an out of position Evert Jakobsson, making the score, 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Bartuelo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Jakobsson saved FC Figo from getting behind. The supporters of Atletico de Linköping booed when FC Figo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Figo's zone, Gláuber Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Jakobsson came out of the goal and Gláuber Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Figo's goalkeeper Evert Jakobsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Figo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico de Linköping were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
