Pär Sävström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Martinsson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Ahlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gideå getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Simon Tinglöv hit a great ball. Pär Sävström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Kvidinge's Gabriel Martinsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Ahlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Gideå's Ludwig Haeger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Magnus Back narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pär Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Ahlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Martinsson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Eric Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Sävström in the 32nd minute of the match. When Michel Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kvidinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. Eric Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Martinsson in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Michel Samuelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eric Ahlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Fernkvist to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Martinsson in the 56th minute of play forced Gideå's goalkeeper Eric Ahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Pär Sävström in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pär Sävström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Ahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Gideå's players were relieved. 69 minutes into the match, Ludwig Haeger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Back. Kvidinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludwig Haeger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Kvidinge's Otto Asklund got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Kvidinge defense, Ludwig Haeger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Back. The Kvidinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Magnus Back should have stopped the shot. Pär Sävström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eric Ahlberg made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Pär Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvidinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Sävström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Ahlberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Kvidinge's Karl-Magnus Back played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Haeger in the 97th minute of play. Kvidinge's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
