Rättvik RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Busk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Runeberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sakarias Granström during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sakarias Granström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Busk notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gäddede BK's Sören Kilström. Sören Kilström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Rättvik RK's Bengt-Rune Linqvist got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sture Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stig-Arne Runeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sören Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Busk in the 44th minute of the match. David Erserman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Erserman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gäddede BK booed when Rättvik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Arne Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Hjälm in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Bengt-Rune Linqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stig-Åke Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Kilström having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Valentin Grönlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gäddede BK and the Rättvik RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Grönlund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stig-Åke Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sören Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Stig-Åke Busk rounded Gäddede BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Stig-Arne Runeberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Hjälm's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Stig-Åke Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gäddede BK's zone, Ingmar Hydén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sören Kilström came out of the goal and Ingmar Hydén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Gäddede BK's goalkeeper Sören Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingmar Hydén. Sören Kilström was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Stig-Åke Busk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig-Åke Busk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Ingmar Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play Gäddede BK's Valentin Grönlund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rättvik RK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
