Kilafors FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Stigsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Karl-Erik Pettersson made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kilafors FK's Krister Hult. Pavlo Leontovych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Eklund went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ingvar Göransson's late challenge caught a Explorer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Eklund in the 17th minute of play forced Explorer FC's goalkeeper Pavlo Leontovych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Börje Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kilafors FK's zone, Tobias Stigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Stigsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Börje Kollberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Explorer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Eklund came free, but Pavlo Leontovych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Pihlgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börje Kollberg having to make a save. Tobias Stigsson in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Börje Kollberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Arhenius in the 35th minute of play forced Explorer FC's goalkeeper Pavlo Leontovych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Åke Viberg during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Tobias Stigsson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Explorer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Stigsson couldn't finish the play. Pavlo Leontovych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Eklund in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Arenberg during the 40th minute. Pavlo Leontovych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. But to his dismay, Håkan Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Göransson got free with Pavlo Leontovych in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th match minute, Kilafors FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Clementsson to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Eklund scored 2-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlo Leontovych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Explorer FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Ingvar Göransson scored to the left of an out of position Pavlo Leontovych, making the score, 2-5. When the match was over Kilafors FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Explorer FC throughout the match.
