The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mårten Lingren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Sundén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Jakobsson was a little too slow when Jim Skräddare got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Myresjö's Björn Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Skräddare in the 17th minute of play. Björn Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Skräddare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandvikens IF's Ximen Rallo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ximen Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Västlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Jim Skräddare came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sandvikens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Skräddare couldn't finish the play. Sandvikens IF's Ximen Rallo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sandvikens IF's Robin Ingemarsson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Myresjö getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Richard Hellbom hit a great ball. If Jim Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Sundén to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Villiam Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Lingren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myresjö's Björn Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Skräddare in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Skräddare in the 56th minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Björn Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Ximen Rallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Björn Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 60 minutes, Jim Skräddare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandvikens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Skräddare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Myresjö's Johannes Sundén suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Sandvikens IF's Mats Björkkvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Myresjö defense, Jim Skräddare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Jakobsson. The Myresjö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. Steven Schattenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Myresjö's Stig-Ove Malmgren got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes, Jim Skräddare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandvikens IF and the Myresjö players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Myresjö booed when Sandvikens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mårten Lingren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Västlund in the 90th minute of the match. If Henrik Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Myresjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuuno Viitkar to maneuver through the defense. Sandvikens IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
