Eskilstuna IFK's Ted Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Forss in the 4th minute of play. If Joacim Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 8 minutes on the clock, Willian Carvalho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eskilstuna IFK! Ted Sjöberg had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Robin Odeen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Eskilstuna IFK defense, Robin Odeen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Sjöberg. The Eskilstuna IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Sjöberg should have stopped the shot. Izydor Sobania kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joacim Vesterberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Sjöberg was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Samuel Söderberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stora blåsjön's Georg Fors. Georg Fors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isak Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ted Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isak Forss made a kick off. Ted Sjöberg was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Joacim Vesterberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joacim Vesterberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Stora blåsjön's Isak Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isak Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ted Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Vesterberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ted Sjöberg made a huge save. Daniel Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ted Sjöberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joacim Vesterberg in the 74th minute. Ted Sjöberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Joacim Vesterberg sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Eskilstuna IFK's goalkeeper Ted Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Vesterberg.
