Henry Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Fridlund having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Isak Asmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barsebäck's supporters rose to their feet, but Isak Asmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Valter Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åskloster BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Niclas Kjellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Niclas Kjellbom sped through Barsebäck's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Knut Fridlund. Henry Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Kjellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Wennerquist during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Kjellbom in the 53rd minute of play forced Barsebäck's goalkeeper Knut Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barsebäck's goalkeeper Knut Fridlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Lars Nyman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åskloster BK's Valdemar Danielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Knut Fridlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Kjellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isak Asmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
