When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rudolf Karlsson sped through Grillby FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunnar Melander. Gunnar Melander didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Svenstavik's Rudolf Karlsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Gunnar Melander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Helge Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svenstavik were furious when Sverker Lindberg was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Grillby FK. Gunnar Vacker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albert Stephansson. 1-2. Rudolf Karlsson's late challenge caught a Grillby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Karlsson helped the player get up and apologised. Rudolf Karlsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Svenstavik getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Björn Hasselqvist hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Etxekopar to make the kick off. Rudolf Karlsson in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gunnar Melander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albert Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Kvist in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Rudolf Karlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Melander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Helge Kvist fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grillby FK's protests and gave Helge Kvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Grillby FK got a freekick which was hit by Helge Kvist. Rudolf Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Melander having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Grillby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Torsberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Grillby FK booed when Svenstavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Zachrisson's late challenge caught a Grillby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Zachrisson helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the game, one of Svenstavik:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Albert Stephansson went to the wrong direction when Gunnar Vacker was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Svenstavik's Albert Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Etxekopar in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Rudolf Karlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Gunnar Melander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Rudolf Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Etxekopar took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Stephansson. Albert Stephansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Aquilino Etxekopar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Stephansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
