Bengt Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Röbäck IF's Nicklas Nyström in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Utö FK's goalie prevented a goal. Röbäck IF's Reine Örtlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Lundhberg in the 9th minute of play. Reine Örtlund made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Alf Lundhberg sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Reine Örtlund managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Utö FK's Alf Lundhberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jens Termander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Röbäck IF's Reine Örtlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Lundhberg in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Röbäck IF's zone, Allan Berglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Örtlund came out of the goal and Allan Berglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Fredriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Fredriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Röbäck IF's Mathias Fredriksson got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Termander got free with Reine Örtlund in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Utö FK's Bengt Fogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Nyström in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Mathias Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Fogel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Mathias Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Röbäck IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. Reine Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lundhberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nicklas Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Fogel having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Utö FK's goalkeeper Bengt Fogel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Nicklas Nyström in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bengt Fogel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Villiam Wiman hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicklas Nyström got free with Bengt Fogel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 64 in the game by Nicklas Nyström from a close distance when the talented Bengt Fogel managed to make a qualified save. Utö FK's players were relieved. With a little luck, Utö FK's Bengt Fogel got control of the ball when Nicklas Nyström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Röbäck IF's Jon Nässén got a free kick in the 67th minute. The Utö FK fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Utö FK's Alf Lundhberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Nicklas Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bengt Fogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Röbäck IF. When Oskar Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Utö FK's protests and gave Oskar Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Utö FK got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Bergqvist. Eric Jönsätt hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Röbäck IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Greger Kielstedt was slow to take the kick. During this time Utö FK's players had a chance to rest. Allan Berglund was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bengt Fogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicklas Nyström's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
