When Filiph Billock came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Långås FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Billock couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Långås FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Wennerquist. Eskil Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Arvidsson in the 14th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of nyköpings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Långås FF:s goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Långås FF. Allan Säfström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eskil Tunander. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Erik Wennerquist got free with Eskil Tunander in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Långås FF booed when nyköpings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Ekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pål Ahlrot made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Filiph Billock however managed to control. nyköpings's Vilhelm Ekberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ludwig Kellbom in the 31 minute of the game. When Anders Gallin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the nyköpings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Gallin couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, nyköpings's Tage Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Lööf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Gallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eskil Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Wennerquist in the 51st minute of the match. The Långås FF fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Långås FF's Filiph Billock looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anders Gallin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Wennerquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Tunander having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Mohammed during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Anders Gallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Långås FF could leave the field as winners, despite nyköpings having more of the ball for most of the match.
