In the 30th minute, Sören Harlén made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Siöman. Assassins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sören Harlén to make the kick off. The Assassins fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Assassins's Fabrizio Melchiorre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Team Yao's zone, Fabrizio Melchiorre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Lindqvist came out of the goal and Fabrizio Melchiorre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Palmkvist's late challenge caught a Assassins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Palmkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Team Yao getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leif Palmkvist hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Ivar Bergstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ivar Bergstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
