Jonas Bergqvist's late challenge caught a Lyckeby Goif's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Bergqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IFK Timrå getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jonas Bergqvist hit a great ball. Lars-Erik Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Agne Stenkvist fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyckeby Goif's protests and gave Agne Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Edvin Hansson struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. In the 96th minute, Sven-Edvin Hansson made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Isaksson. Lyckeby Goif's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IFK Timrå fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lyckeby Goif had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
