Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Washington Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 4 in the game by Washington Breckenfeld from a close distance when the talented Torgny Bark managed to make a qualified save. Kurdistan's players were relieved. After 7 minutes, Gavino Naelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurdistan and the Göteborg IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kurdistan's Gavino Naelio got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Jens-Ove Bergdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göteborg IK's Olle Björck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olle Björck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Bergdal in the 14th minute of play. Axel Björkdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurdistan's Torgny Bark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Breckenfeld in the 20th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kurdistan's goalie and right to Axel Björk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kurdistan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Axel Björkdal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Olle Björck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Bergdal's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Kurdistan's goalkeeper Torgny Bark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Hurtig. Torgny Bark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Hurtig in the 33rd minute of play. Olle Björck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Bergdal in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Göteborg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Forsell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kurdistan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Axel Björkdal hit a great ball. Torgny Bark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Breckenfeld in the 46th minute. Isaac Hurtig struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Torgny Bark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göteborg IK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ove Bergdal was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Göteborg IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Göteborg IK. In the 60thth minute of the game Jens-Ove Bergdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göteborg IK's Olle Björck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Göteborg IK's Arvin Forsell got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Bergdal in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Björck saved Göteborg IK from getting behind. Jens-Ove Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Jens-Ove Bergdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Björck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Albert Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurdistan made a substitution. Herman Sjöström replaced Jens-Ove Bergdal. In the 89th minute Herman Sjöström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Björck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göteborg IK's Olle Björck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Göteborg IK from getting a goal against them. Olle Björck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Sjöström in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Tobias Gustau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Olle Björck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Kurdistan's Wilhelm Juhlin got a free kick in the 97th minute. After some careless play in the Kurdistan defense, Washington Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgny Bark. The Kurdistan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgny Bark should have stopped the shot. The Göteborg IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kurdistan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
