Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Melker Gunnarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Höllviken's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Ekberg came free, but Einar Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Bjurström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egon Gudmundsson having to make a save. If Wilhelm Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Bergdal in the 96th minute of play. Höllviken's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
