Thanks to some nice moves Patrik Öfverman could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Tim Hansson however easily saved by the left post. Sten Kinell's late challenge caught a Gunnarn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sten Kinell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IFK Carlavägen getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sten Kinell hit a great ball. Tim Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, IFK Carlavägen's goalkeeper Tim Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Öfverman. Peter Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tim Hansson made a huge save. After 12 played minutes IFK Carlavägen got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Holm. 15 minutes into the match, IFK Carlavägen's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Paulin came free, but Tim Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jörn Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. IFK Carlavägen's Tim Hansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save IFK Carlavägen from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Patrik Öfverman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tim Hansson to make any attempt to save it. 26 minutes into the game, Magnus Paulin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Hansson. Magnus Paulin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. IFK Carlavägen's Tim Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Bergqvist in the 31st minute of play. Tim Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Bergqvist in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Bergqvist in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Hansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Hansson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alexander Lekberg sent off a good shot on target. Jörn Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IFK Carlavägen's Karl-Erik Holm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Georg Benett, made in the 42nd minute of the game. IFK Carlavägen's Tim Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Paulin in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tim Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Öfverman in the 55th minute of play. If Peder Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Marko Östensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Peder Ek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Örjan Kjellkvist. The goal made the score 2-1. After 67 played minutes IFK Carlavägen got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Hedlund. In the 74th minute Peter Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Patrik Öfverman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Hansson. IFK Carlavägen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Öfverman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Peder Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Örjan Kjellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IFK Carlavägen's Tim Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Öfverman in the 93rd minute of play. Tim Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Gunnarn IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
