Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Svanavattnet were awarded a corner. Charles Lundblad went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven-Oskar Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Albäck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Jansson in the 21st minute of play forced Assyrian's goalkeeper Carl Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Assyrian's Viktor Blomberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Svanavattnet's Charles Lundblad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Assyrian. Sven-Oskar Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Albäck having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Sven-Oskar Jansson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Assyrian's Carl Albäck. Carl Albäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sven-Oskar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Assyrian's zone, Simon Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Albäck came out of the goal and Simon Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Sven-Oskar Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assyrian's Carl Albäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Sven-Oskar Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Albäck was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Viktor Blomberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lindgren in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lindgren in the 46th minute of play forced Assyrian's goalkeeper Carl Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Simon Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. If Simon Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Assyrian's Sverker Modig got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes, Svanavattnet's Charles Lundblad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carl Albäck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Svanavattnet reached it. When Simon Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Svanavattnet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Lindgren couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Assyrian's Carl Albäck got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenny Engström charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Engström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Lindgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carl Albäck. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Jansson got free with Carl Albäck in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Svanberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Sundén having to interfere. Sven-Oskar Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, Svanavattnet's Sven-Oskar Jansson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th match minute, Svanavattnet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Bäck to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 78th minute Assyrian's Björn Bergqvist took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Gert Sundén and thus the score was 1-3. Walter Julin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Jansson got free with Carl Albäck in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walter Julin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carl Albäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svanavattnet. In the 92nd minute Simon Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svanavattnet's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
