When August Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Åryd IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Nordin couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Bradford City's Oskar Britz got control of the ball when August Nordin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvar Högström took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Axelsson. Isac Axelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Häger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Åryd IK's August Nordin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Johan Alegren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Alvar Högström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isac Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Högström in the 80th minute. Jens-Ola Häger hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Ahlkvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Håkan Ahlbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Britz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, August Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åryd IK's supporters rose to their feet, but August Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Britz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, August Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åryd IK's supporters rose to their feet, but August Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Britz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Asmundsson got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rickard Kielberg. The Bradford City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bradford City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
