The referee showed Gottfrid Wallmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens-Ola Askestät recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Erik Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Svante Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Löfdahl made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bertil Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Hedared's Bertil Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DooNasteritic F.C.'s Ingmar Löfdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save DooNasteritic F.C. from getting a goal against them. Leif Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Löfdahl having to interfere. Bertil Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 32 in the game by Bertil Johansson from a close distance when the talented Ingmar Löfdahl managed to make a qualified save. DooNasteritic F.C.'s players were relieved. Ingmar Löfdahl had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bertil Johansson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Gunnar Näfver fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DooNasteritic F.C.'s protests and gave Gunnar Näfver a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DooNasteritic F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gunnar Näfver hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game Arne Moberg kicked a great long shot which passed Ingmar Löfdahl straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Arne Moberg behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Arne Moberg's late challenge caught a DooNasteritic F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Moberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DooNasteritic F.C. booed when Hedared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Moberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Sjöström to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hedared's Arne Moberg got a free kick in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Jens-Ola Askestät notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hedared's Gabriel Nyberg. Gabriel Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ingmar Löfdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Johansson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingmar Löfdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bertil Johansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Löfdahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Johansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Gunnar Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Johansson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingmar Löfdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Bertil Johansson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ingmar Löfdahl. Hedared's Gabriel Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Hedared from getting a goal against them. Ingmar Löfdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jens-Erik Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. DooNasteritic F.C.'s Ingmar Löfdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Johansson in the 84th minute of play. DooNasteritic F.C.'s Gunnar Näfver got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Bertil Johansson put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ingmar Löfdahl. When Hedared's Bertil Johansson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DooNasteritic F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Hedared were the better team. Hedared's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
