Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Allan Valström made the kick off which started today's match. If Björn Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes in the game, Björn Hedvall dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jack Ekeroth struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bernt Hamnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IK. Bernt Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ekeroth in the 12th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Jack Ekeroth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smygehamn's Bernt Hamnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Valström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Glanselius having to interfere. Roger Gråberg scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Hamnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vänge IK's Björn Hedvall got a free kick in the 31st minute. Björn Hedvall hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Smygehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. When Erik Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vänge IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Bagge couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Gråberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Vänge IK's Roger Gråberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernt Hamnberg. Bernt Hamnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Bernt Hamnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Gråberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Valström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Glanselius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Valström in the 58th minute of play forced Vänge IK's goalkeeper Charles Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Säf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Glanselius. Vänge IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Smygehamn's Bernt Hamnberg got control of the ball when Jack Ekeroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Valström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vänge IK's Charles Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Forsman in the 93rd minute of play. When Birger Forsman came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Smygehamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Forsman couldn't finish the play. Vänge IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
