Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandared BF's Billy Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Kihlman in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Lundhberg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Sandared BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Lundhberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Merseyside Kickers's Garry Brown seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Garry Brown the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Merseyside Kickers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Garry Brown had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sigvard Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lundhberg in the 24th minute of play forced Merseyside Kickers's goalkeeper Marcus Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandared BF's Billy Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Lundgren in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Merseyside Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Kihlman. Dan Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Billy Vikström made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Holger Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Merseyside Kickers booed when Sandared BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Ahlroth to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Valström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marcus Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Bo Lundhberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandared BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Lundhberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes Merseyside Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Lundgren. Johannes Valström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marcus Fredriksson made a huge save. Sandared BF's Billy Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Jansson in the 66th minute of play. Billy Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Lundgren in the 67th minute of play. Billy Vikström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Jansson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. During the 69th minute of the match Bo Lundhberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bo Lundhberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Sandared BF's Bo Lundhberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. Marcus Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Valström in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Sigvard Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Merseyside Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Mårtensson. Sigvard Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Vikström came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Merseyside Kickers's Dan Hermansson. But to his dismay, Dan Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Merseyside Kickers's Marcus Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Merseyside Kickers from getting a goal against them. Sigvard Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Merseyside Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Merseyside Kickers players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
