The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kämpa Jobba's Pål Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Kämpa Jobba from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Karl Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bollpojkarnas BK were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Kämpa Jobba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony Haeger took the corner. In the 10th minute Bollpojkarnas BK were awarded a corner. Tony Haeger went to the cornerflag to take it. Tony Haeger made a great header on Bollpojkarnas BK's corner, it was just that Kämpa Jobba's Pål Josefsson managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Kämpa Jobba getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kevin Backman hit a great ball. Ingvar Martinsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pål Josefsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Kämpa Jobba's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Haeger came free, but Pål Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bollpojkarnas BK's Wiktor Bergfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Sundström in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kämpa Jobba defense, Sture Örnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Josefsson. The Kämpa Jobba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Josefsson should have stopped the shot. After 28 played minutes Bollpojkarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Ekeroth. Pål Josefsson made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ingvar Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. After 41 minutes of play, Bollpojkarnas BK's Tony Haeger made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Martinsson to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Karl Dahlberg made a precise shot to the right of Pål Josefsson. Kämpa Jobba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Kevin Backman made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bollpojkarnas BK's Tony Haeger. 66 minutes into the match, Bollpojkarnas BK's goalkeeper Wiktor Bergfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Stabbe. Morgan Wickander hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Wiktor Bergfeldt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Stabbe in the 74th minute. Ivar Stabbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Wiktor Bergfeldt made a huge save. If Karl Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Sven-Ove Viberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Haeger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Josefsson having to interfere. Pål Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Dahlberg in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Karl Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bollpojkarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Bollpojkarnas BK were the better team. Bollpojkarnas BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
