A wasted opportunity for Ibrakadabra. 17 minutes into the game, Tony Gunnarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervalla BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibrakadabra the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Ervalla BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibrakadabra:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Tidéksson in the 21st minute of play forced Ibrakadabra's goalkeeper Rune Dusett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fredrik Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fredrik Tidéksson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ervalla BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Tidéksson couldn't finish the play. Kjell Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kjell Lund hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ibrakadabra's Rune Dusett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Tidéksson in the 28th minute of play. Markus Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Söderström got free with Markus Palmquist in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Dusett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Tidéksson in the 36th minute of play. Markus Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rasmus Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rasmus Söderström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
