Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jack Vaabenfelt started the match with the kick off. Torbjörn Granberg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ingemar Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jakob Högström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Arvid Bergendahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingemar Eriksson having to make a save. Real Madrid C.F.'s Ingemar Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Granberg in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Jack Vaabenfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Dahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arvid Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Granberg in the 24th minute of the match. Arvid Bergendahl's late challenge caught a Real Madrid C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvid Bergendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Arvid Bergendahl hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Hans Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 35 played minutes Dals Rostock got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Granberg. Alf Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ingemar Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingemar Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Alf Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Martinsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dals Rostock's Arvid Bergendahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingemar Eriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Jack Vaabenfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Magne Kuse notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dals Rostock's Eddie Dahlkvist. Eddie Dahlkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Jakob Högström got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Dals Rostock's Alf Martinsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Eriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Alf Martinsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dals Rostock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Alf Martinsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 70th minute, Torbjörn Granberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ingemar Eriksson, passed just outside the right post. 72 minutes in the game, Arvid Bergendahl fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ingemar Eriksson having to interfere. Arvid Bergendahl got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ingemar Eriksson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Ingemar Eriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alf Martinsson came free, but Ingemar Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dals Rostock booed when Real Madrid C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Dals Rostock's Conny Wennersten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ingemar Eriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dals Rostock reached it. If Alf Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Eriksson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Conny Wennersten.
