Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eskil Ersman got the match started through his kick off. The Björbo RK fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Björbo RK's Sonny Ekström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Fårbo's Isac Hylander got a free kick in the 14th minute. Viktor Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Hägg having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Fårbo's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Ekström came free, but Vilhelm Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Otto Ekblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fårbo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Ekgren in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Hägg saved Fårbo from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Fårbo's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Ekgren came free, but Vilhelm Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Ekgren in the 37th minute of play forced Fårbo's goalkeeper Vilhelm Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Sonny Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björbo RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Ekgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute of the game, Lars-Erik Samuelsson landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Vilhelm Hägg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Ekgren's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Otto Ekblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Pilgren. Björbo RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Ekblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Otto Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fårbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Ekblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Pilgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Björbo RK's Sonny Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilhelm Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Björbo RK's Viktor Ekgren got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fårbo's goalkeeper Vilhelm Hägg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Björbo RK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fårbo to leave the ground with a draw.
