A hard shot 6 in the game by Hans Grep from a close distance when the talented Harry Soned managed to make a qualified save. Hallstavik IK's players were relieved. Victor Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Harry Soned didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerhamn. When Degerhamn's Hans Grep in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Wenerdahl in the 12th minute of play forced Hallstavik IK's goalkeeper Harry Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Vik lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th match minute, Hallstavik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Vik to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Degerhamn booed when Hallstavik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Backman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hallstavik IK's zone, Jan Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Soned came out of the goal and Jan Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Grep could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Harry Soned made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Grep to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry Soned didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Grep went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Hallstavik IK's Gustav Almqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 71st match minute, Hallstavik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Stigsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Hans Grep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Soned was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 76 minutes into the match, Degerhamn's goalkeeper Tim Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Njurenius. Oliver Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tim Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Hans Grep quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When Stig Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hallstavik IK's protests and gave Stig Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hallstavik IK's Stig Nyström got a free kick in the 96th minute.
