Marcus Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Lövgren hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Hammarström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Hammarström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Sven-Erik Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Paul Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Tunberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Skillinge's Inge Karlberg in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Herman Westerstrand was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lillkyrka through an amazing save. Åke Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Karlberg in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Westerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Lillkyrka's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Karlberg came free, but Herman Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lillkyrka booed when Skillinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lillkyrka's zone, Åke Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Westerstrand came out of the goal and Åke Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gunnar Hurtig fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lillkyrka's protests and gave Gunnar Hurtig a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Tunberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Dahlberg having to interfere. Herman Westerstrand didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Skillinge's Roger Björklund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 66 played minutes Skillinge got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Blom. Ulf Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Tunberg got free with Vincent Dahlberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Karlberg in the 85th minute of play forced Lillkyrka's goalkeeper Herman Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Lillkyrka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skillinge getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anton Ivarsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Paul Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillkyrka's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Åke Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
