Claes Sandström made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ernesto Benvenuto sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Kalix FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ernesto Benvenuto hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Kalix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Söderström came free, but Jan Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ernesto Benvenuto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claes Sandström. Ernesto Benvenuto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ernesto Benvenuto took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Sandström. Claes Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Mangueira got free with Claes Sandström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, The Lonely Guys's Claes Sandström got control of the ball when Rune Stenström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The The Lonely Guys fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when The Lonely Guys's Nils-Emil Söderström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute, Kalix FC's Ernesto Benvenuto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Ernesto Benvenuto might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Sandström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Benvenuto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 minutes of play, Kalix FC's Rune Stenström made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Sandström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claes Sandström made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Karl-Magnus Brovall sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ernesto Benvenuto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Söderström in the 53rd minute of play forced Kalix FC's goalkeeper Jan Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Ernesto Benvenuto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalix FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 59 minutes into the match, The Lonely Guys's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Brovall came free, but Claes Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalix FC's attentive Rune Stenström managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Olof Alrot made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Jan-Olof Alrot with Nils-Emil Söderström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Claes Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Brovall, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Ernesto Benvenuto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Ernesto Benvenuto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Claes Sandström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Ernesto Benvenuto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Sandström was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The Lonely Guys's Claes Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Pihlberg in the 74th minute of play. Claes Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Benvenuto in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, The Lonely Guys's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Benvenuto came free, but Claes Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Skytt struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Claes Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalix FC. Carl Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kåre Ingebrigtsen fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 87th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Rune Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claes Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Kalix FC's Ernesto Benvenuto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Sandström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Kalix FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
