The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Lord Bendtner's Hans Asmundsson got control of the ball when Mårten Viberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans Asmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Jonasson in the 5th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 12th minute when William Finman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Jonasson got free with Hans Asmundsson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Atletico East were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Lord Bendtner's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. William Finman took the corner. FC Atletico East's William Finman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hans Asmundsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of FC Atletico East booed when Lord Bendtner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Rosin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Atletico East defense, Stig-Ove Rosin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Alström. The FC Atletico East fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Alström should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Skarkman hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. William Finman took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans Asmundsson. Hans Asmundsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Jonasson in the 34th minute of play forced Lord Bendtner's goalkeeper Hans Asmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Siöman charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Siöman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes FC Atletico East got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Siöman. Jörgen Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Morat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hans Asmundsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Folke Morat slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hans Asmundsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Jonasson went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Ove Rosin got free with Kurt Alström in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that William Finman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Asmundsson was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Lars Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lars Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Atletico East's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Asmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Lars Jonasson notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Lord Bendtner's Hans Asmundsson. Hans Asmundsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Lars Jonasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Skarkman in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Lord Bendtner's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Jonasson came free, but Hans Asmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Ove Rosin charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Rosin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lord Bendtner getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stig-Ove Rosin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Jonasson in the 93rd minute of play forced Lord Bendtner's goalkeeper Hans Asmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Atletico East fully deserved thier win.
