The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. skultuna RK's Torsten Mellbad quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tor Knutsson, made in the 6th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Kasper Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Bredberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Kasper Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Bredberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skebobruk BK's Kasper Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jim Bergfelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Bredberg got free with Birger Fransson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Kasper Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Malte Bredberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skebobruk BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Jan Hultstrand fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skebobruk BK's protests and gave Jan Hultstrand a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of skultuna RK booed when Skebobruk BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Hultstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Gert Skoglund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Löfgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joe Velling hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Birger Fransson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Malte Bredberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Birger Fransson came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Skebobruk BK's Ted Alströmer. But to his dismay, Ted Alströmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Skebobruk BK's Kasper Strömberg got a free kick in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Beckeman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joe Velling struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Roger Löfgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for skultuna RK. In the 62ndth minute of the game Kasper Strömberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but skultuna RK's Birger Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Löfgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred Beckeman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 64 minute of play. Fred Beckeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roger Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of skultuna RK booed when Skebobruk BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Birger Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Bredberg in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Strömberg in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Fransson saved skultuna RK from getting behind. When Skebobruk BK's Malte Bredberg in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Birger Fransson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Skebobruk BK's Tor Knutsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for skultuna RK. Joe Velling might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Löfgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Velling ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Malte Bredberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Birger Fransson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 95 minutes, Fred Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. skultuna RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Beckeman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Malte Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Skebobruk BK fans' excitement grew in the 99th match minute when Skebobruk BK's Ted Alströmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skebobruk BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while skultuna RK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
