Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Timmele IK's Franz Banks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Delminho FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Franz Banks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Banks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Henning Andersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Timmele IK's goalkeeper Henning Vennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Henriksson. Henning Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Vennersten having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Timmele IK's goalkeeper Henning Vennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Åke Lund. Franz Banks scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Alströmmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timmele IK's Franz Banks got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jim Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Franz Banks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Alströmmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Delminho FF's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Banks came free, but Jim Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Henning Vennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Henning Andersson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henning Vennersten, passed just outside the right post. Timmele IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Per-Åke Lund 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After the first half Timmele IK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jim Alströmmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Banks's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timmele IK's goalkeeper Henning Vennersten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henning Andersson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Henning Vennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delminho FF. Delminho FF's Jim Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Banks in the 68th minute of play. Henning Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Henning Vennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Timmele IK's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Andersson came free, but Henning Vennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Henning Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Delminho FF's Henning Andersson, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Delminho FF. Delminho FF's Jim Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Delminho FF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Delminho FF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edgar Siöman hit a great ball. Henning Vennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Andersson in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz Sadlowski in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Vennersten saved Timmele IK from getting behind. When Henning Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Delminho FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Andersson couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Timmele IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
