Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Alberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Floby's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Sävström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bror Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Ove Sävström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Floby's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Alberg came free, but Sven-Ove Sävström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Smögen IF's Erik Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Brask in the 15th minute of play. Erik Koch made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Peder Törnblom sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Olof Fagerberg's late challenge caught a Floby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Olof Fagerberg helped the player get up and apologised. Floby's Dennis Vallgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Smögen IF. Johan Bergman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bror Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Sävström having to interfere. Pär Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Sävström came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Smögen IF's Bror Lindqvist. But to his dismay, Bror Lindqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Brask to make the kick off. Peder Törnblom might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Koch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peder Törnblom ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smögen IF's goalkeeper Erik Koch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jens-Ola Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Ove Mossberg's late challenge caught a Smögen IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Ove Mossberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Floby's Karl-Ove Mossberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Smögen IF's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Jens-Ola Alberg was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Smögen IF's Erik Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Brask in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Jens-Ola Alberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven-Ove Sävström, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Floby getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Karl-Ove Mossberg hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Bror Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Ove Sävström. Floby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jens-Ola Alberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Sävström having to interfere. Jens-Ola Alberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sven-Ove Sävström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Floby's Sven-Ove Sävström got control of the ball when Bror Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arvid Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Koch having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Brask in the 95th minute of play forced Smögen IF's goalkeeper Erik Koch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Peder Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Floby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Smögen IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
