Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mattias Brogren got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Ups-Men United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tomas Gadd hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ups-Men United's Patrick Fransson got control of the ball when Christian Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 minutes, Dick Asserlind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ervalla FF and the Ups-Men United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Kevin Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Patrick Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Fransson made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mattias Brogren sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ervalla FF's zone, Jörgen Tinglöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Kling came out of the goal and Jörgen Tinglöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Kling having to interfere. If Jörgen Tinglöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ups-Men United's Evald Veider got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, André Melander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ervalla FF's Erik Kling. Erik Kling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jörgen Tinglöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Kling having to interfere. Jörgen Tinglöv struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Erik Kling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ups-Men United. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörgen Tinglöv made a kick off.
