Börje Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Andreas Olsmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristoffer Bäckman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, FKA Guldgossarna's Per-Åke Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Olsmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Forssell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andreas Olsmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Forssell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Hudiksvalls IF's Andreas Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Käller in the 13th minute of play. Andreas Olsmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Jonasson's late challenge caught a FKA Guldgossarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ivar Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Skoog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Fogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ivar Skoog came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hudiksvalls IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Skoog couldn't finish the play. Hudiksvalls IF's Ivar Skoog got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristoffer Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristoffer Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FKA Guldgossarna booed when Hudiksvalls IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, one of Hudiksvalls IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hudiksvalls IF. Vidar Berggren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Lund during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Börje Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Aaron Fogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Skoog to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Fogel made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ivar Skoog sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hudiksvalls IF booed when FKA Guldgossarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ivar Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Skoog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudiksvalls IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Gulliksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FKA Guldgossarna booed when Hudiksvalls IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Gulliksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FKA Guldgossarna's zone, Ivar Skoog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Fogel came out of the goal and Ivar Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Hudiksvalls IF's Edgar Lundin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aaron Fogel. Ivar Skoog's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Aaron Fogel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Börje Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 101st minute of the match Örjan Olofsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Olsmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FKA Guldgossarna were victorious despite being under pressure from Hudiksvalls IF for much of the match.
