Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bårkåle FC's Ian Nordlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Börje Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bårkåle FC's zone, Richard Nilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ekström came out of the goal and Richard Nilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Richard Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Nilsson couldn't finish the play. If Richard Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Bårkåle FC's Nils Vedholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Ahlerot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Stig-Arne Ahlerot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Nils Vedholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bårkåle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Stig-Arne Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Eriksson in the 32nd minute of the match. Börje Beneth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yngve Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ekström having to interfere. If Börje Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Richard Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. Axel Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Börje Beneth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bårkåle FC's goalkeeper Axel Ekström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AC Milan's Stig-Arne Ahlerot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Martin Bure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Richard Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Beneth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Bårkåle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Nilsson in the 78th minute of play forced Bårkåle FC's goalkeeper Axel Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Stig-Arne Ahlerot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bårkåle FC. Stig-Arne Ahlerot was a little too slow when Karl-Michael Sjögren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. After having played for 97 minutes, Richard Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
