In the 21st minute, Lino Txerran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickard Bröms took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Staffan Hellström. Staffan Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Johannes Kock fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solberga IF's protests and gave Johannes Kock a yellow card for diving instead. Jan-Ove Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Txerran went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rickard Bröms sped through Älmestad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Staffan Hellström. The supporters of Älmestad booed when Solberga IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Ove Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Txerran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Lino Txerran struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jan-Ove Säv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmestad. Jan-Ove Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Txerran in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Lino Txerran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Ove Säv. Solberga IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Txerran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lino Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älmestad's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Säv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Ove Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Txerran went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Älmestad fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Älmestad's Lino Txerran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the game, Stig Lindberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älmestad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solberga IF the free kick. Stig Lindberg hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Älmestad defense, Greger Askstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Staffan Hellström. The Älmestad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Staffan Hellström should have stopped the shot. Staffan Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Askstedt in the 94th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Txerran in the 96th minute of play. The Solberga IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Älmestad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
