In the 17thth minute of the game Reda Ravaud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Eskilstuna's Arnaldo Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reda Ravaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Stefan Bergendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Kennet Olsson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Martin Alkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mattias Kristiansson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ragnar Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sahni BK defense, Mattias Kristiansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Bergendahl. The Sahni BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Bergendahl should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Mendiko made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sahni BK's Henrique Guerreiro. Mattias Kristiansson had several of the Sahni BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Stefan Bergendahl as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mattias Kristiansson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Stefan Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Niguel having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Stefan Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahni BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Sahni BK's Reda Ravaud made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Niguel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sahni BK's Stefan Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Mendiko in the 94th minute of play. IFK Eskilstuna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
