Gustav Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fabian Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Odman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joacim Apelkvist in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Eskilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hult's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valskog IK the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Hult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Högman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Mark Njurenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joacim Apelkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Casper Odman made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Uggstedt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casper Odman, 1-0. With a little luck, Valskog IK's Casper Odman got control of the ball when Joacim Apelkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Odman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mattsson in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Jens-Åke Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valskog IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Lundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Säf kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fabian Högman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. David Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Högman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Mattsson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Högman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Sven-Edvin Eskilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kåre Runeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valskog IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Runeberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Högman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joacim Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Hult got a freekick which was hit by Marc Askstedt. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Mattsson to make the kick off. Valskog IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristian Ahlkvist in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Valskog IK's corner Kristian Ahlkvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Högman quite easily take care of the ball. Gustav Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Högman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Alefors during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Hult's zone, Klas Björkdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Högman came out of the goal and Klas Björkdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When David Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Valskog IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Mattsson couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Hult's goalkeeper Fabian Högman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algot Håkansson. The supporters of Valskog IK booed when Hult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Säf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Högman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Hult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Lööf to maneuver through the defense. Valskog IK's Casper Odman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Uggstedt in the 82nd minute of play. Valskog IK's Algot Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Högman having to interfere. Bertil Lennartsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fabian Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Mattsson got free with Fabian Högman in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If David Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valskog IK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
