Göran Håkansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anderstorp booed when St. Beddinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Del Nero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orvar Berggren. St. Beddinge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 29th minute, Göran Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Roger Viberg. Anderstorp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 36 minutes into the game, Sílvio Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anderstorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St. Beddinge the free kick. 40 minutes into the match, St. Beddinge's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Näfver came free, but Orvar Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Åke Andberg during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Campidelis couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Åke Näfver was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Göran Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Laba kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Göran Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Roger Viberg. Anderstorp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Viberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoni Laba might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Viberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoni Laba ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Göran Håkansson put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Viberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Håkansson in the 94th minute of play forced Anderstorp's goalkeeper Roger Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Jens-Åke Näfver sped through St. Beddinge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orvar Berggren. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The St. Beddinge fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anderstorp had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
