Tobias Alrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, one of AC MILAN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dadá Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Alrot having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urtun Montiano to strike the kick off in the second half.
