With his leg Anton Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Sons Of Trosa's Sven-Erik Hjeltman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sons Of Trosa's Sakarias Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Almkvist in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Elliot Högström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anton Bergqvist to make any attempt to save it. After 19 minutes, Philip Levander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skoghall IFK and the Sons Of Trosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Jens-Ola Kjellkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Erik Hjeltman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Anton Bergqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons Of Trosa's goalkeeper Sakarias Åström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Sons Of Trosa's Sven-Erik Hjeltman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sons Of Trosa's Sakarias Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Almkvist in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Hjeltman got free with Anton Bergqvist in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Elliot Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Skoghall IFK's goalkeeper Anton Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Hjeltman. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Hjeltman was the one to do the kick off. In the 70th minute of the game, Thomas Alkvist landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 70 minutes, Fredrik Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sons Of Trosa and the Skoghall IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dan Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Lundin in the 79th minute of the match. Dan Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Sven-Erik Hjeltman had to leave the field with a concussion. Philip Levander was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent.
