After 32 minutes of play, Mean Machine's Gustav Näver made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Finnman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvald Löfgren got free with Adam Blomquist in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bobbi Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mean Machine's Adam Blomquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. Osvald Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Blomquist having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvald Löfgren to make the kick off. Andreas Hjortbergs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Gunnar Finnman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
