Rickard Sjöström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Torgny Valler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Sjöström. Ramshöjdens IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Valler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Johannes Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Åke Pihlwall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Sjöström skillfully saved the ball. Filiph Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Löfgren in the 27th minute of the match. Ramshöjdens IK's Sven-Olof Löfgren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ingmar Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiph Kjellman made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Sven-Olof Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramshöjdens IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramshöjdens IK's Johannes Stabbe got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Stabbe hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Ramshöjdens IK's Sven-Olof Löfgren in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergdalen IK's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Löfgren in the 61st minute of the match. Filiph Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rickard Sjöström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torgny Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Sjöström having to interfere. In the 71st minute, one of Ramshöjdens IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ramshöjdens IK. After some careless play in the Ramshöjdens IK defense, Jimmie Kullgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Sjöström. The Ramshöjdens IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Sjöström should have stopped the shot. After 86 played minutes Bergdalen IK got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Tingelholm. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Sven-Olof Löfgren put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Albom. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bergdalen IK's goalkeeper Dan Albom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ingmar Vikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes Ramshöjdens IK got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Stabbe. The Ramshöjdens IK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bergdalen IK to win.
