Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Filiph Kjellman made the kick off and thus started the match. Eric Rosén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Albom having to interfere. Dan Albom came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Jönköping's Lars-Erik Linquist. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Linquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonathan Jonasson's late challenge caught a Bergdalen IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Jönköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. After 17th play minutes Torgny Valler shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Stig-Ove Vallman and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Bergdalen IK's Jimmie Kullgren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dan Albom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars-Erik Linquist went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Magnusson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stig-Ove Vallman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Valler in the 30th minute. Jönköping's Stig-Ove Vallman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jönköping from getting a goal against them. Filiph Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Stig-Ove Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Lars-Erik Linquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Rosén was the one to do the kick off. When Torgny Valler came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bergdalen IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Valler couldn't finish the play. When Bergdalen IK's Filiph Kjellman in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jönköping's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th match minute, Jönköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Beneth to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Torgny Valler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiph Kjellman took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Ove Vallman. Stig-Ove Vallman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Linquist got free with Dan Albom in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jönköping's Eric Rosén in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergdalen IK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Rosén in the 71st minute of play forced Bergdalen IK's goalkeeper Dan Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Linquist in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dan Albom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dennis Tingelholm hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Jönköping's Leif Billström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Bergdalen IK's Fred Berglund got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eric Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dan Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Bergdalen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Rosén came free, but Dan Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lars-Erik Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
