The Vansbro fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Vansbro's Yazid Kacha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valsjöbyn's attentive Ola Gadd managed to snatch the ball when Börje Fredriksson made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. Enrico Mian hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Alf Åström charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Åström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valsjöbyn getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alf Åström hit a great ball. Vansbro's Yazid Kacha suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Josef Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valsjöbyn getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Josef Lundgren hit a great ball. If Enrico Mian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn's Ola Gadd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peder Olofsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute Enrico Mian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Valsjöbyn getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Demario Mala hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Andersson came free, but Aleksander Tidéksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valsjöbyn's Aleksander Tidéksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Edström in the 38th minute of play. Aleksander Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Eriksson in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Gadd got free with Peder Olofsson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Charles Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Tidéksson. Valsjöbyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Umberto Brito made the kick off in the second half. Casper Andersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aleksander Tidéksson made a huge save. The supporters of Vansbro booed when Valsjöbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demario Mala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Tidéksson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Aleksander Tidéksson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Charles Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. Aleksander Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
