After a rather tough play, Ödeshög's Rudolf Wiberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alfred Böcklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Grönlund in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Grönlund in the 39th minute of play forced Storå's goalkeeper Alfred Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Böcklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Storå's goalkeeper Alfred Böcklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Grönlund couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Dan Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ödeshög's Peder Grönlund got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
