Bernt Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arman Löfgren in the 3rd minute. Bernt Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Hurtig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Kjell-Arne Melander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Hurtig in the 13th minute of play forced Sandared's goalkeeper Bernt Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kjell-Arne Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Melander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fjärdhundra's Kent Hegg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Torbjörn Hurtig fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernt Eklund, passed just outside the right post. Bernt Eklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torbjörn Hurtig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Ludwig Skytt's late challenge caught a Fjärdhundra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Skytt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, one of Sandared:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sandared. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when Sandared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Sjö didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Casper Barck in the 36th minute really tested Bernt Eklund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arman Löfgren got free with Bernt Eklund in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arman Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bernt Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fjärdhundra. 43 minutes into the match, Sandared's goalkeeper Bernt Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arman Löfgren. 46 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Fjärdhundra's Arman Löfgren fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell-Arne Melander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torbjörn Jansson during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torbjörn Jansson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bernt Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Löfgren in the 55th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Arman Löfgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandared's Bernt Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arman Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Jansson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bernt Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Löfgren in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Lund in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arman Löfgren's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Kjell-Arne Melander's late challenge caught a Fjärdhundra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sandared's Andreas Sjö got a free kick in the 77th minute. Bernt Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Löfgren in the 81st minute of the match. Arman Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernt Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
